Post: DepEd and Vice President Duterte’s Campaign Supports Cabadbaran City Schools

Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte – The Department of Education (DepEd), in collaboration with the Office of Vice President Sara Duterte, has successfully extended its 'PAGBABAGO: A Million Learners Campaign' to 13 elementary schools in remote barangays of Cabadbaran City.

According to Philippines News Agency, civil-military operations officer of the Army's 29th Infantry Battalion (29IB), over 615 elementary learners received bags and other school supplies during a one-day distribution event. The initiative, supported by the 29IB, aims to contribute to the education sector and support the cause championed by Vice President Sara Duterte, who also serves as the DepEd Secretary. The effort seeks to provide essential educational tools to students in isolated villages, encouraging them to excel in their studies.

Lt. Col. Cresencio Gargar, commander of 29IB, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to DepEd's campaign. He emphasized that access to school supplies and resources would enhance the quality of education in the remote areas of Cabadbaran City. The initiative highlights the strong partnership between the military and civil leadership in promoting social progress and national development.
