Monarch Highlights New Steering Committee for Zakat Distribution and Wakaf Lands Management

Bandar seri begawan: The Monarch addressed the establishment of a Steering Committee dedicated to the management of Zakat distribution, as well as the progress on wakaf lands and Baitulmal property. This announcement was part of the Monarch’s recent titah.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the creation of the Steering Committee aims to enhance the effectiveness and oversight of Zakat distribution efforts. Additionally, the committee will focus on the development and management of wakaf lands and the administration of Baitulmal property. These initiatives are seen as crucial steps in optimizing the use of resources and ensuring that aid reaches those in need efficiently.
