Declaration Of Restricted Air Space

Bandar seri begawan: The Department of Civil Aviation has announced new security and safety measures by declaring the Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien area as restricted air space within a 5.5 to 6-kilometre radius of several key locations, effective from September 6, 2025.

According to Radio Television Brunei, this regulation prohibits the operation of any aircraft, including drones or unmanned aerial vehicles, within the specified air space. Non-compliance with this directive will be regarded as a violation of the laws and regulations of Brunei Darussalam.
