Closing of International NCD Conference and Exhibition Marks Successful Conclusion

Berakas: The 2025 International Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) Conference and Exhibition concluded with a formal Closing Ceremony at the International Convention Centre in Berakas on the afternoon of October 12th. The event’s finale highlighted the significant engagement and interest it garnered over its duration.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony featured the presentation of awards for the top three poster presentations and the best three oral presentation finalists. These awards were presented by Pengiran Mohammad Khiruddin bin Pengiran Haji Yusoff, who serves as the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Management at the Ministry of Health. The conference, since its opening last Wednesday, has successfully attracted an average of three to four thousand attendees daily. Visitors included a diverse range of health professionals, students, families, and members of the general public, reflecting the wide-reaching impact and importance of the issues discussed at the event.
