Post: Cleaning Campaign Yields 95 Kilograms of Rubbish in Muara

Muara: About 95 kilograms of rubbish was collected during a Cleaning Campaign at the Kampung Perpindahan Serasa Mosque, Muara, and the Kampung Perpindahan Serasa Housing Area. 300 people comprising officers and staff of the Ministry of Religious Affairs as well as residents of the area participated in the campaign. Among those joining was Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Through this initiative, it is hoped to increase the importance of maintaining cleanliness which is part of faith.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the campaign was a collaborative effort aimed at fostering a sense of community responsibility towards maintaining cleanliness. The presence of officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs underscored the significance of the initiative, aligning with the belief that cleanliness is an integral part of faith. The active participation from both ministry staff and local residents highlighted the community’s commitment to environmental stewardship.
