Gadong: The ‘Borneo City’ Cup 2025 Invitational Basketball Tournament saw impressive performances as the Brunei team emerged victorious in the Veterans Category, maintaining an undefeated record throughout the event. Meanwhile, the Kota Kinabalu team clinched victories in both the women’s and men’s categories during the finals held yesterday at the Batu Bersurat Basketball Court.

According to Radio Television Brunei, in the women’s category, the Labuan team secured a win against the Miri team with a score of 61-54. However, the Brunei team faced a significant defeat against Kota Kinabalu, ending the game 39-110. In the Veterans Category, Kota Kinabalu triumphed over Labuan with a score of 83-57.

In other matches in the Veterans Category, the Brunei team recorded a victory against the Miri team, finishing with a score of 59-49. In the men’s category, the Miri team was defeated by the Kota Kinabalu team, ending the game 62-69. Additionally, the Brunei team achieved a win against the Labuan team, closing the match with a score of 65-60.
