Brunei’s Royal Family Attends Singapore Premier League Match

BERAKAS, BRUNEI – The Deputy Sultan of Brunei, His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah enjoyed a night of football at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium on July 19th. They watched Brunei DPMM FC draw 1-1 with Hougang United FC in a Singapore Premier League match.

The royal couple was joined by Prince ‘Abdul Malik, their children, and other dignitaries, emphasizing the royal family’s support for local sports. The Deputy Sultan and his family were received by Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The national team, Brunei DPMM FC, is set to continue its league campaign with an away match against Young Lions on July 27th at Jalan Besar Stadium in Singapore.
