Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with Brunei TV Service’s Golden Jubilee, Radio Television Brunei (RTB) organized a ceremonial reading of Surah Yasin and Tahlil. The event was held in memory of Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim. The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum, Jalan Tutong, on the afternoon of July 8th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the delegation for the ceremony was led by Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos, Deputy Minister for Civil Service Governance at the Prime Minister’s Office. The event was also attended by senior officers, officers, and staff members from the Prime Minister’s Office and RTB.
