Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque Hosts Halaqah Zikir and Launches Al-Quran Surah Book

Bandar Seri Begawan — In a move to enrich religious activities in places of worship across the nation, the Mosque Affairs Department and the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque Takmir Committee Members convened for a Halaqah Zikir Ceremony and the launch of a new Al-Quran surah book today at the Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Acting Director of Mosque Affairs, who officiated the ceremony, the goal is to bolster the Al-Quran literacy among Brunei Darussalam’s citizens. The book, which contains 11 selected surahs including guidance on tajwid, makhrajal huruf, and brief tadabbur for each verse, is intended to assist mosque officials in guiding congregants and the general public in learning these selected passages.
