Brunei Holds Nationwide Munajat and Taubat as Part of Knowledge Convention 2023

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Nationwide Munajat and Taubat (Repentance Programme) was a key event of the Knowledge Convention 2023 in Brunei Darussalam, held simultaneously across main mosques in the country’s four districts. In Brunei Muara District, the event took place at Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme was attended by prominent government ministers, including Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin, Minister of Religious Affairs; Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin, Minister of Home Affairs. Activities included a mass sunat taubat prayer, doa munajat, and a tazkirah.
