Brunei Darussalam Sends Contingent to Islamic Solidarity Games 2025

Bandar seri begawan: The 6th Islamic Solidarity Games 2025, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 7th to 21st, will see participation from Brunei Darussalam. On the morning of November 4th, six members of the national contingent departed for Riyadh to join the tournament.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the departure ceremony at Brunei International Airport was attended by Pengiran Haji Mohd Hasnan bin Pengiran Haji Ali Hassan, the Permanent Secretary for Culture at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The national contingent is led by Awang Haji Mohamad Rosfazilah bin Haji Yusly, Acting Director of Youth and Sports, who serves as the Chef de Mission. Brunei Darussalam will compete in three sporting events: weightlifting, karate, and fencing.
