Maulidur Rasul Celebration Highlights at Ministry of Home Affairs

Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Home Affairs and its departments hosted a Maulidur Rasul Celebration, organized by the Prisons Department, at the ministry premises on the afternoon of 16th September.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs. A special talk titled ‘Kelebihan Selawat, Raih Syafaat’ emphasized that reciting selawat is an expression of love towards Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam and a means to attain the mercy of Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala. The program also featured a Dikir Marhaban performance and a ceremony for presenting certificates and plaques to 124 officers and staff of the ministry who retired last year.
