Brunei Darussalam Highlights Economic Ties at Australia-ASEAN Business Forum

Adelaide: Brunei Darussalam is highlighting its growing economic ties with Australia through its strong participation in the Australia-ASEAN Business Forum. The 2-day Forum took place in Adelaide, Australia, until the 27th of August 2025.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the country’s delegation was led by Daniel Leong, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Brunei Economic Development Board, along with private sector representatives and members of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council. His Excellency Michael Neil Hoy, Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, described the presence of Brunei Darussalam’s delegation as important in supporting Brunei’s regional economic strategy and diversification efforts.
