Tutong, Brunei – The Brunei Breast Cancer Support Group, in collaboration with the Tutong District Office, organized a forum on 26th November morning at Seri Kenangan Hall of the Tutong District Civic Centre Complex in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the forum, held for the first time, was attended by Yang Berhormat Dayang Chong Chin Yee, Member of the Legislative Council. According to the organizers, the theme of the forum was "Payudara Aset Berharga, Jagalah!" which translates to "Breasts are Precious Assets, Take Care!" The event aimed to spread awareness about breast cancer, particularly among women of various ages. The forum featured presentations from three specialists in their respective fields and included shared experiences from individuals who are undergoing or have undergone cancer treatment. Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, was also present. Additionally, an exhibition and sales booth of One Village One Product were part of the event.
