Breaking of the Fast Ceremony Held with Orphans in Tutong District

Tutong: The 17th Jalinan Kasih Project continued its tradition with the Breaking of the Fast Ceremony, engaging orphans in the Tutong District. The event was a collaborative effort between Radio Television Brunei and the Rotary Club of Bandar Seri Begawan, held at the Official Residence of the Tutong District Officer on 16th March.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Hamdan, a Member of the Legislative Council, and Awangku Arif Anuar bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Acting Tutong District Officer. The event featured a reading of Tahlil, a significant Islamic prayer ritual, followed by the presentation of donations to 50 orphans, emphasizing community support and care for those in need.
