Pasig City Bettor Wins P175 Million Ultra Lotto Jackpot
PASIG CITY, Philippines — A single ticket holder from Metro Manila struck it rich overnight by winning the PHP175 million jackpot in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Saturday. The winning ticket, sold in Santolan, Pasig City along Amang Rodriguez Avenue, matched all six numbers in Friday night’s draw.
According to Philippines News Agency, the winning combination that brought the massive windfall was 04-07-57-05-54-47, with the total jackpot prize amounting to PHP175,160,965.20. The lucky bettor is advised to visit the PCSO main office in Mandaluyong City with the winning ticket and two identification cards to claim the prize.
Under the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion Law, the jackpot is subject to a 20-percent tax for winnings exceeding PHP10,000. Winners have a one-year window to claim their prizes before they are forfeited.
In addition to the jackpot winner, 20 other participants won PHP120,000 each by matching five out of the six winning numbers. A further 765 individuals will receive PHP2,000 each for correctly guessing four numbers, and 18,907 bettors will be awarded PHP100 each for three correct digits.
The Ultra Lotto 6/58, which has drawings on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, is one of several lottery games operated by the PCSO. PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles encourages the public to participate in these games, highlighting their role in supporting the agency’s efforts to fund health initiatives, medical services, and various national charities. The PCSO’s gaming products not only offer participants the chance to win significant sums but also contribute to the welfare of those in need, providing essential funding to governmental health institutions.
