Bandar Seri Begawan: In efforts to enculture reading and encourage the community in the country to read Al-Qur'an, the Language and Literature Bureau, DBP through the Library Division held a 60-Minute with Al-Qur'an Programme. The programme was held at Balai Sarmayuda, DBP Berakas and through DBP social media virtually.
According to Radio Television Brunei, present was Awang Haji Zakaria bin Haji Serudin, Permanent Secretary for Youth at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. 607 participants joined the programme physically and virtually. The event included the mass reading of Al-Qur'an, Selawat Tafrijiyyah and Sayyidul Istighfar as well as a talk titled '60-Minute with Al-Qur'an'.
