Minister of Education Discusses Brunei’s Educational Initiatives at 8th Asian Summit on Education and Skills
Seri Begawan, Brunei — The Minister of Education, Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Md Salleh, shared Brunei’s educational initiatives and best practices at the 8th Asian Summit on Education and Skills 2023 held in Bengaluru, India. In her speech, she outlined the Ministry of Education’s Strategic Plan for 2023 – 2027, which focuses on three main objectives: nurturing future-ready learners, enhancing an innovative education ecosystem, and building up human resources.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the summit, which ran from 15 to 17 October, carries the theme “Stronger, Bolder, Better Education for all: Building Collaboration, Improving Quality and Realising Opportunity.” It serves as the Asian Chapter of the annual Education World Forum and hosts ministers of education, policy-makers, and leaders from India, Asian countries, and several emerging economies outside the region. Concurrently, DiDAC India organized an exhibition showcasing educational resources, which includes modern instruments, innovative technologies, and advances in educational methodology for all levels of education and skill sectors.
