28th ASEAN-Japan Summit Held at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre

Kuala lumpur: His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam attended the 28th ASEAN-Japan Summit at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Accompanying His Majesty was His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen.

According to Radio Television Brunei, at the Summit, His Majesty expressed appreciation to Japan for their support to ASEAN and called for collaboration in digital transformation in response to today’s global challenges and rapid digitalisation. His Majesty also welcomed ERIA’s support for ASEAN’s energy transition, and its contributions to the work of the ASEAN Centre for Climate Change is appreciated.
