113th Munajat Night Addresses Bullying with Islamic Guidance

Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei – The 113th Munajat Night, held on the night of 25th November, focused on the role of Islam in addressing bullying. The event was organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the B.E.S.T. Programme.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the night’s activities included the reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education. The content of the event highlighted how Islamic guidance can help individuals develop attitudes to overcome bullying, emphasizing Help, Empathy, Love, and Responsibility. By practicing these values, the event suggested, life in institutions and society can become more meaningful and harmonious. The Munajat Night also saw participation from Takmir members, youths, and congregants from 81 mosques, suraus, and religious halls nationwide, including staff from the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ministry of Education.
