Post: Working Visit to International Religious School Highlights Commitment to Quality Religious Education

Bandar seri begawan: The implementation of religious teaching and learning at educational institutions must always remain relevant, of quality, and capable of contributing to the development of a generation that is Al-Quran literate, possesses noble values, and is competitive. This was among the objectives of a working visit by the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ delegation to international religious schools in Brunei Muara District.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the working visit to Miftah An-Nur Islamic International School in Kampung Sungai Akar was led by Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, the Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This visit underscored the Ministry’s commitment to ensuring that the religious education imparted at these institutions is of high quality and remains relevant in today’s world.

A similar visit took place at the Jerudong International School, JIS Religious School, led by Awang Haji Shamshol bin Haji Omar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This visit aimed to assess and reinforce the religious curriculum offered, ensuring it aligns with the values and objectives set by the Ministry.

Meanwhile, Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, led a visit to the International School Brunei, ISB Religious School. The visit focused on reviewing the administrative and financial aspects of religious education to enhance its overall effectiveness and reach.

These visits reflect the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to maintain a high standard of religious education across various international institutions, ensuring that students receive an education that is both spiritually enriching and academically competitive.
