Quran and Sunnah are the main sources that will provide guidance for every Muslim to ensure that they are following the right path. This was stated by Awang Arif Fakhrullah A. Ramlee in his working paper entitled ‘Dynamics of Quraan and Sunnah: Consumption Theory in Islamic Economics’ during the 6th International Conference on Islam in the Malay World.

Awang Arif Fakhrullah, a Master of Usuluddin student, of UNISSA, outlined the economics aspect of Quran and Sunnah. According to him, the muslim ummah is in a dire need for an economic system with Islamic teaching values.

Meanwhile, Norunnajjah Ahmat, Lecturer of Pusat Bahasa dan Pembangunan Insan, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia in a paper entitled, ‘The philosophy of Divine Engineering and Its Technological Application in Quran ‘, focuses on the concept that Allah is the Greatest Creator in this world.
