Brunei Darussalam is currently in the inter-monsoon period. Yesterday morning, two tropical storms were observed.
Tropical Storm Kompasu was observed at north of the Philippines, while Tropical Storm Namtheun over the Western Pacific Ocean. Both tropical storms are projected to move further away from the country. Tropical Storm Kompasu will indirectly cause slight windy condition with occasional showers crossing the land and sea areas with wind gust of up to 45 kilometres per hour in the next few days. Sea condition is generally expected to be at slight to moderate state with wave height of up to 1.6 metres.
