Kuala belait: Residents in several areas of the Belait District may experience low water pressure on 21st July 2025, particularly in elevated regions. This is due to scheduled cleaning works on multiple water tanks within the district.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the cleaning operations will begin at the ‘A1’ Water Tank located on Jalan Parak in the Panaga National Housing area. These operations are set to commence at 8 a.m. and will continue until completion. The regions expected to be impacted include Jalan Parak, Panaga National Housing, and their surrounding areas.
Additionally, cleaning works at the Batu Lima 5 Water Tanks are also scheduled to start at 8 a.m. and will continue until finished. The areas that will feel the effects include Kampung Mumong A and B, Kampung Pandan C, as well as their vicinities.
For the Buau region, the water tank cleaning will similarly begin at 8 a.m. and persist until the task is completed. This will affect Rumah Panjang Buau and its surrounding locales.
Moreover, the Booster Tanks at Bang Taong are slated for cleaning starting at 8 a.m., with anticipated impacts on Mukim Sukang, Mukim Melilas, and nearby areas.
