A van caught fire and was badly damaged yesterday. The incident took place at the Mumong Post Office, Kuala Belait.
9 firefighters from the Kuala Belait Fire Station rushed to the scene. The fire was successfully contained within 10 minutes. No injuries were reported. The Fire and Rescue Department advises the public to always ensure that vehicles are in a good and safe condition. Any modifications or additions to the engine electrical system and car accessories as well as wiring, should be in accordance with the correct standards.
