Post: UTB Vice-Chancellor Encourages New Students to Embrace Higher Education

Bandar seri begawan: New students of Universiti Teknologi Brunei, UTB, are encouraged to take on the challenge of higher education as a stepping stone to personal and academic development. The matter was emphasised by the UTB Vice-Chancellor at the Orientation Week, to welcome 641 new students for the 2025/2026 academic year. It took place at the UTB Multipurpose Hall.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Datin Paduka Professor Doctor Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, UTB Vice Chancellor, also emphasised the university’s mission in shaping future-ready graduates through academic excellence, innovation, and community involvement. The ceremony marked the beginning of the UTB Orientation Week 2025, scheduled to run until 19th of July. Organised by the Student Affairs Office and UTB Student Representative Council, the programme features various activities designed to help new students adapt to university life, both academically and socially.
