Bandar seri begawan: The Second Uciran Calak Art Exhibition brings together the Bruneian art community with the theme ‘Ekspresi Budaya Kitani’ or Expression of Our Culture. Featuring over 60 artists with more than 100 artworks in various forms and mediums, the exhibition reflects the creativity and life experiences of the artists.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the opening was officiated by Doctor Dayang Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The exhibition runs until 30th September and aims to showcase the development of the creative industry in Brunei Darussalam. Held at the Brunei Energy HUB Dermaga Diraja in Bandar Seri Begawan, the second exhibition is organised by Creative Space Brunei in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Brunei Museums Department.
