Two Individuals Fined Under Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021 for Illegal Dumping

Anduki, Brunei — Two individuals, Rizam Bin Haji Maidin and Mohammad Shahmir Ramkumar, were issued compound fines of $500 each for illegal dumping in open areas under the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021. The Department of Environment, Parks and Recreation, known as JASTRe, announced the fines in a press release.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the individuals have been given seven days to settle the fines, as informed by JASTRe in its press release.
