Two-Day Islamic Turkish Calligraphy Workshop Sees High Participation

Berakas — The Embassy of the Republic of Turkiye organized a two-day Islamic Turkish Calligraphy workshop that drew 80 participants.

According to a new release by Radio Television Brunei, the first day of the workshop was held on 27th October afternoon, at the Language and Literature Bureau in Berakas. The workshop was led by world-renowned calligraphers. Given the overwhelming public response, permanent calligraphy courses are being planned in collaboration with the Yunus Emre Institute, YEE; Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, and the Research Centre for Islamic History, Art and Culture.
