Tutong: The atmosphere in Tutong Town was lively with processions and a fireworks display as part of the Tutong Town Festival 2025, held on the night of 13th September. The event took place along Jalan Enchi Awang and the Tutong Town Jetty in conjunction with His Majesty’s 79th Birthday Celebration. It was co-organised by the Tutong District Office, Tutong Municipal Department, and the Tutong District Development and Creative Body.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Mohamad Danial @ Tekpin bin Ya’akub, Member of the Legislative Council, was in attendance. Over 300 people participated in the procession, including the Royal Brunei Armed Forces band, the Prisons Department’s Flute and Drum team, and the Tutong District Creative team.
