Tutong District Celebrates Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony for 100 Students

TUTONG – On the afternoon of February 4th, a Khatam Al-Qur’an Ceremony was held at the Pengiran Muda Abdul Wakeel Kiudang Mosque in the Tutong District to honor 100 students who have completed their studies in Al-Qur’an and Muqaddam classes organized by local mosques, suraus, and religious halls. The event was aimed at fostering a closer relationship between the students and the holy Quran.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance, attended the ceremony. The Tutong District Mosque Affairs Office and the Imarah Division of the Mosque Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Pengiran Muda Abdul Wakeel Mosque Takmir Committee, organized the ceremony. This celebration underscores the community’s commitment to encouraging the study and appreciation of the Quran among its youth.
