There were major economic changes that occurred in key industrial sectors during the pandemic, which not only have global importance and focus, but are also relevant to Brunei. In a keynote address at a Town Hall Forum on Post-Pandemic Opportunities for Brunei SMEs’, the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism said important sectors include tourism, food, health, education and digital trade. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism also underlined that disequilibrium or in other words disruption is identified both as great threats as well as great opportunities. Thus, the challenges are also new opportunities for companies to capitalize on, to grow and sustain their businesses.
