Bad Elements are Not Bruneian Culture

Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a titah strongly emphasizes that bad elements such as bullying should not occur in Brunei Darussalam. The Monarch stresses that no youth, students, or underaged school children in the country should fall into or be influenced by any bad elements and misconduct.

According to Radio Television Brunei, His Majesty emphasizes that such behavior is not part of Bruneian culture, which is derived from the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad that are noble and perfect. His Majesty highlighted this in the Titah during the Maulidur Rasul Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Celebration for 1447 Hijrah / 2025, which was broadcast nationwide. His Majesty began the address by expressing gratitude to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala, noting that it is by His grace that the country can once again celebrate the significant event of the birth of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam for 1447 Hijrah.
