In conjunction with 76th Royal Birthday Celebration, the Mosque Affairs Department in collaboration with the Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Takmir Committee, held a Tausyeh Competition Prize and Certificate Presentation Ceremony for Men and Women, Mosques’ Youth Groups nationwide, 24th September afternoon.
The prizes and certificates were handed over by Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri, Acting Director of Mosque Affairs as the personal representative of the Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Kampung Pandan National Housing Scheme Mosque’s Tausyeh Group in Belait District emerged as champion in Men’s category. While the STKRJ Kampung Lambak Kiri’s Tausyeh Group won the Women’s category. The male mosque youth category was won by Mohammad Salleh Main Mosque, Bangar Town in Temburong District. Meanwhile for the female mosque youth category was won by Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah, Kampung Kiarong.
