Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Ministry of Education organized a Tahlil ceremony, which included the reading of Surah Yasin, to honor Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit; and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji ‘Abdul ‘Azim. This ceremony was part of the 35th Teachers’ Day Celebration and took place at the Royal Mausoleum on the afternoon of September 20th.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the delegation at the event was led by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony was also attended by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs.
