Muhabah Ramadhan Programme Brings Joy to Tutong District

Bandar Seri Begawan – The Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam Mosque in Kampung Sengkarai, Tutong District, was the venue for a heartwarming donation presentation ceremony on April 6th, as part of the Muhabah Ramadhan Programme. This initiative aimed to assist 30 orphans, underprivileged families, and single mothers in the area and its surroundings, marking a significant community effort to share blessings during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony began with the reading of tahlil and doa arwah, followed by the presentation of donations by Members of the Legislative Council. The program, specifically designed to alleviate financial burdens ahead of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri Celebration, symbolizes the legislative members’ commitment to charitable work and their desire to share sustenance with those less fortunate during this festive season.
