Strong Support for Parents of Cerebral Palsy Patients

More than 400 children were recorded with Cerebral Palsy at the Child Development Centre. This means that more than 400 close family members are affected by the condition in terms of their children's care, health, development, education and social function. Apart from focusing attention to the children's survival, the Child Development Centre will continue to take steps towards ensuring that every child's development reaches optimal level and in turn enjoy the best quality of life.

Cerebral Palsy is caused by abnormal brain development affecting a child's ability to move and maintain balance and posture. Parents affected by the disorder requires strong support from all parties so that they will feel empowered in providing the best care for their children.

Cerebral Palsy is among the conditions that require attention, which can only be achieved with awareness and acceptance. The public's cooperation, in particular from non-governmental organisations and stakeholders, is hoped to continue implementing various activities, suitable treatment as well as intervention to handle the condition.
