Cairo: Seeking knowledge holds a significant place in Islam, as it constitutes one of the main responsibilities of a Muslim. With knowledge, a Muslim can truly understand the teachings of Islam, improve their character, and live a life based on syariat. Furthermore, knowledge can enhance a person’s faith and strengthen their relationship with Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala. This was among the key messages of a tazkirah, or lecture, titled ‘Adab Menuntut Ilmu Dalam Islam,’ delivered at the Darussalam Surau, Arab Republic of Egypt, during the Special Munajat.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was organized in conjunction with the 13th Haflut Takharruj of the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Quran Institute. It was graced by the presence of teaching staff and ‘Aliyah Qira’at Diploma graduates. The gathering also included participation from the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam Office staff, Brunei Darussalam students in the Arab Republic of Egypt, and congregants from various mosques, suraus, and religious halls in the country, along with officers and staff from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
