Bandar seri begawan: The Senior Officers' Meeting of the 38th Session of the Food and Agriculture Organisation Regional Conference for Asia and the Pacific concluded on the afternoon of April 22. Over three days, participants tackled challenges and emerging issues, laying the technical and policy groundwork for the upcoming Ministerial Session.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the meeting was chaired by Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The agenda included enhancing access to affordable and nutritious diets, accelerating low-carbon and sustainable agricultural production, improving efficiency and inclusion across agrifood systems, and facilitating trade and market integration.
