Sea Games 2027

Following viral report on social media regarding SEA Games 2027, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports explained the statement is not official and invalid.

Yang Berhormat Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful  Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin also shared the country’s aspiration to become a tentative host for SEA Games 2027, which was relayed through Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Committee on mid-2021. However, after a detailed assessment, Brunei Darussalam decided to withdraw during the Southeast Asian Sports Federation Meeting in December 2021.
