SDG Youth Camp Briefs Participants on Sexual Harassment Prevention
BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – A briefing on sexual harassment prevention was held this morning at the Youth Centre in Bandar Seri Begawan, aimed at participants of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Youth Camp. The event focused on raising awareness and providing education on how to address and prevent sexual harassment.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the briefing included detailed explanations on the types of social workers available to assist the public and ease difficulties related to such issues.
The SDG Youth Camp is organized by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Brunei Vision Office, which acts as the Secretariat of the Special National Coordinating Committee on Sustainable Development Goals. This initiative is in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Brunei Shell Petroleum, the International School of Brunei, the Brunei Youth Council, and Green Brunei, all contributing to a comprehensive approach to tackle pressing social issues among the youth.
