A sum of 500 dollars was donated to the Brunei Muara District Orphan’s Fund at the opening of the School Holiday Volume 1 sales fair, 31st August. The activity was held at the parking area of Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas in the capital.
The donation was presented by Dayang Mirany Floridzah binti Abdul Rahman, Acting Deputy Director of the Department of Community Development, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. Over 40 vendors are taking part in the event, selling food and beverages, clothing as well as accessories. Activities for children and the reptile exhibition are also held. The fair is open to the public until the 4th of September from 2 in the afternoon to 10 at night.
