Post: Record Attendance by Lawmakers at Serbisyo Fair in DavNor Highlights Legislative Support

DAVAO DEL NORTE – The Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair (BPSF) opened on Friday with an unprecedented turnout of 167 members from the House of Representatives, marking a significant moment of legislative support under the Marcos administration.

According to Philippines News Agency, the attendance of 167 legislators at the event in Tagum City was historic for the BPSF, emphasizing the commitment of the lawmakers to the initiative. "This is the first time such a large number of our members have gathered outside the usual settings of Congress for the BPSF," Romualdez stated, expressing gratitude for the strong show of support despite the members' responsibilities in their respective districts.

Cavite 2nd District Representative Lani Mercado-Revilla praised the organization of the event, noting that it not only demonstrated the strong collaboration among members of Congress but also served as a practical application of their oversight functions. "We are here to ensure that the programs we have funded are being executed properly by the agencies," she said.

The BPSF, which concludes on Saturday, is expected to serve approximately 250,000 beneficiaries in Davao del Norte, providing more than PHP913 million in government services, including cash, education, and livelihood assistance. This initiative underscores the government's commitment to enhancing public service delivery through collaborative efforts among elected officials.
