18 orphans residing in Kampung Manggis and Kampung Madang received donations during the Reading of Surah Yassin and Tahlil Ceremony for the Village organised by the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Mosque Takmir Committee, Kampung Manggis Madang. The function was held last night at the said mosque.
Present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohammed Riza Bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohammed Yunos, Deputy Minister at the Prime Minister's Office as the Advisor of the Mosque's Takmir. The reading of Surah Yassin and tahlil was also intended for His Majesty's late parents and son, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. Such activity is among the mosque's annual event that aimed to welcome the arrival of Ramadhan and encourage the act of giving alms.
