Questions and Answers Session

Several questions were raised during the questions and answers session with the media. Among the matters raised were the restriction for district entry and exit, no social distancing during the swab tests, foreign arrivals in the country and the well-being of pregnant mothers.

 

On the enforcement of control measures such as restriction on exit and entry from red zone district, Yang Berhormat advised the public make smart decision before leaving the house.

 

Touching on viral issue regarding no social distancing during the swab tests, the Minister of Health stressed that social distancing remains a priority and the public are reminded to be patient and adhere to the directives issued.

 

In regards to pregnant mothers working at essential sector, the Minister of Health urged the involved department or institution to give consideration by allowing them to work from home. This is vital to protect them from exposure. Meanwhile vaccine is safe for pregnant mothers.
