77 participants comprising 32 males and 45 females presented their readings at the qualifying round of the National Musabaqah Al-Quran Memorisation and its Interpretation for the third day, today. They are participants for Category 'C', which is memorising Surah Al-Baqarah and Surah Ali-'Imraan along with its Interpretation, Surah An-Nisa and Surah Al-Maa'idah.
12 people who scored 65 percent will be selected to compete in the Semi-Finals of the Musabaqah. This year, 256 people have registered to participate in the qualifying round of the National Musabaqah Al-Quran Memorisation and its Interpretation. The qualifying round of musabaqah was held at the MABIMS Centre for Al-Quran Studies and Dissemination, Jalan Ong Sum Ping, Bandar Seri Begawan. The musabaqah will continue tomorrow at the same venue.
