Protecting The Earth And Environment

The earth is a very valuable gift and blessing from Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala to all creatures. All human beings and creatures are highly dependent on the natural resources of this earth. Therefore, Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala forbids us to do any damage on this earth. The matter was stated in yesterday’s Friday sermon titled ‘Protecting The Earth And Environment’. The sermon also outlines that as human beings endowed with intellect and mind, one should prosper, utilize and take care of the earth and the environment of the blessings of Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala properly, not do damage, pollution and destruction.

Some of the ways that we can implement to care for and protect the earth and the environment are: To start green or environmentally friendly practices by changing the lifestyle to a more sustainable one by practising recycling, reducing excessive electricity consumption, planting new trees to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and reducing excessive consumption of food; Becoming a smart consumer; Supporting eco-friendly brands or products; and Participating and supporting any activities or campaigns that related to the environment.
