Laguna Police Arrest Three Wanted Suspects in Separate Operations

LAGUNA – In a significant crackdown on criminal activity, Laguna authorities apprehended three individuals on Friday, each wanted for serious crimes, as confirmed by the Laguna Provincial Police Office.

According to Philippines News Agency, the police director, the first arrest involved a suspect known only as “Romeo,” accused of kidnapping and homicide. He was detained in Barangay Burol. That same day, in the same locality, “Danilo,” a suspect wanted for murder, was taken into custody. The operation extended to Barangay Lamot 1 in Calauan, where “Ariel,” another individual implicated in murder, was arrested.

All three detainees had outstanding arrest warrants issued by various regional trial courts in Laguna, with recommendations for no bail, underscoring the severity of their alleged offenses. These arrests are part of Laguna police’s ongoing commitment to addressing crime and ensuring justice for victims. “The Laguna police will continue to execute such operations to apprehend those evading the law,” affirmed Col. Unos.

Following their arrest, the suspects were placed in custody at the Calamba City Police Station and Calauan Municipal Police Station, awaiting further legal proceedings.

These operations came in the wake of another successful law enforcement initiative in the Calabarzon region, where two additional individuals on the ‘most wanted’ list—a suspected child rapist and an armed robber—were arrested in separate incidents in San Pedro City the previous Thursday night.
