MANILA — President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. extended warm wishes to the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) on its 110th founding anniversary this Saturday, praising the religious organization for its lasting faith and significant contributions to Philippine society.

According to Philippines News Agency, the INC has played a crucial role in inspiring communities and promoting unity and progress throughout its history. In his anniversary message, he emphasized the importance of faith in overcoming challenges and enhancing the quality of life for Filipinos. "Sa panahon ng kagalakan at sa gitna ng mga pagsubok, ang ating pananampalataya ang nagsisilbing ilaw sa ating landas at nagbibigay-lakas sa atin upang patuloy na magsikap at mangarap para sa mas magandang buhay," Marcos stated, highlighting faith as a guiding light that fosters creativity, helpfulness, and societal value in accordance with divine teachings.

The president also reflected on the INC's century-plus legacy of faith and its role in shaping a constructive community spirit. He encouraged INC members to continue being a source of inspiration not only within their communities but also across the nation. "Nawa'y magpatuloy kayong maging inspirasyon hindi lamang sa inyong pamayanan, kung hindi para sa buong bansa," he expressed, commending their unwavering service and commitment to societal improvement.

Further, Marcos called on INC members to act as agents of change, working toward peace and prosperity in the Philippines and beyond. He envisioned a collective effort to foster a new and improved Philippines that benefits all, urging every act of goodness to contribute to societal transformation.
