Power Vendor Forum 2024 Focuses on Strengthening Brunei’s Energy Sector


BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN – At the Power Vendor Forum 2024, held this morning at the Prime Minister’s Office, key figures in Brunei’s energy sector gathered to discuss the future of power and its critical role in the economy.



According to Radio Television Brunei, Permanent Secretary for Energy, the government is committed to enhancing the robustness and resilience of the power sector through the development of a dynamic and competitive market. The forum, themed ‘Connecting Businesses with Emerging Opportunities,’ highlighted new business opportunities presented by the Department of Electrical Services and the Energy Transition Division. Pengiran Haji Jamra Weira bin Pengiran Haji Petra, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Energy, provided an overview of the power sector landscape, underscoring the forum’s role in fostering connections within the industry.
